How the city centre should flourish

The Lausitzer Rundschau newspaper asked its readers to submit various questions for the candidates and parties in the upcoming city parliament elections. We were also asked and are publishing the second question and our answer here.

2. How do you ensure that Cottbus city centre becomes/remains a lively place?

Stable rents allow many people to move into the growing city centre. Responsible municipal policy means preventing usurious rents and speculation with housing and property. Supporting start-ups and companies counteracts commercial vacancies and promotes a diverse living and working culture in the city’s neighbourhoods.

And so, for your city and for your future, vote SUB on 09.06.24!
